Shippings - What Are They?

For those of you who don't know, a shipping is a pair of two characters from Avatar that you think should be a couple. Usually when there is a pairing of two characters, fans mix the two's names together to create the pairing's name. Like for example, if you think Katara and Aang should be together, you are a Kataang fan.

Here are some common shippings on Avatar that are seen all around forums and sites:


Katara + Aang = Kataang

Zuko + Katara = Zutara

Toph + Aang = Taang

Sokka + Toph = Tokka

Appa + Momo = Moppa


So that's pretty much all it is to shipping, now hopefully all of you who aren't sure what shippings are now know.
