Name:
Zuko
Age:
16
Nation:
Fire Nation
Bender?:
Yes, a Firebender
Weapon(s)?:
Firebending, dual Dao swords
Features:
Zuko’s appearance is that of his own style, and his own history. Medium black hair sits messily on top of his head, gently covering his face and eyes. His eyes are a golden hue. Over his left eye till his ear is a worn red scar given to him by his father in his past. His skin is average in color. He often has a stern face on, but that stern face will change depending on his emotions at the moment.
Clothes:
His clothes are fairly simple, and normal in some form of red color save for times when he was after Aang and had to change clothes to blend in. He also wears very noble clothes, emphasizing his noble birth as well as the fact he is the heir to the fire nation throne. This attire normally consists of a fire nation armored uniform with a high collared red shirt underneath, trimmed in gold, along with his hair being pulled back into a fire nation clip.
Background:
Zuko grew up in the Royal Palace, a shadow to his younger sister, Azula a natural born protegee. Growing up he constantly tried to out master his sister and win the affection of his father, Ozai. He was very close to his mother for she was one of the few people that encouraged him to do his best. He was incredibly proud when his father took him to a special fire nation meeting, sadly during the meeting he spoke out against the general’s plans to sacrifice some of the newer troops. He was then told he would fight whom he thought to be the general for speaking out. It turned out he was to fight his father, and instantly refused to do so. Thus his father marked him with his burned eye and later banished him from the fire kingdom. His mother left around this time period, leaving the fire nation the same night Azulon died. Zuko at the time believed her to be dead. Since the start of his sixteen year he had chased after the avatar, earning both failure and success. He betrayed his uncle Iroh, the last family member whom he was significantly close to, in recent events and has once more made the way back home to the Fire Nation.
Sample of Roleplaying:
The moon… that haunting yellow orb brought back memories from several events, some were ones that Zuko regretted. He stared up at it with his golden eyes, one burned imprinting his past mistakes. The moon and his scar, both imprecations of his mistakes and what they’ve led him to. He wondered briefly where his uncle was. He shut his eyes, gritting his teeth briefly as a heavy wave of guilt washed over him. Should he have listened to Azula and betrayed uncle Iroh or stayed with uncle Iroh and be sitting with him in a jail cell right now. He was unsure of those decisions along with many others in his history. One question did linger in his mind though. Could he take back his mistakes, or at least earn a bit of the trust of those he’s wronged again if he decided that his actions were wrong? Some he could take back that he knew but there were others he was unsure of whether he could take back or not. Why was he so worried about all of this? He was returning home after three long years and hopefully his father would accept him again. Isn’t this, what he’s spent the last three years trying to accomplish and now he’s done it. Shouldn’t he be happy, rejoicing with Mai at his good luck? Yet, he wasn’t… instead he was standing on a fire nation ship watching the battle between his mental demons, a confusing battle at that.
